Mini-drones can pose a threat to KFOR troops, facilities and infrastructure. A team of SWISSCOY specialists therefore operates modern counter-mini-drone systems, contributing to the self-protection of all soldiers serving with KFOR as well as to security in the area of operation.
Their tasks include operating and monitoring the systems, assessing potential threats and cooperating with the relevant KFOR and Swiss contingent authorities. Their duties also include participating in exercises, documenting lessons learned from the deployment and exchanging expertise with national and international partners.

Interested women and men can apply to the SWISSINT Competence Centre for a peace-promoting mission abroad within the framework of the Swiss Armed Forces. We are looking for experts from a wide variety of professions. The basic requirements differ depending on the mission and type of operation.
