• Tasks

In peacekeeping, members of the Swiss Armed Forces serve in various missions as part of analysis cells. They continuously monitor the situation in the mission areas, evaluate security-relevant information from various sources and prepare risk assessments. In doing so, they support the mission in identifying possible developments at an early stage, anticipating changes and preparing accordingly. Based on this work, they develop situational analyses, assessments and recommendations that support the mission’s decision-making and help protect national and international personnel deployed in the field.
